Overview
The new Ranch Series® Axis Trough is the latest accessory that makes your Ranch Series feeder even more versatile! The Axis Trough has a generous 5-gallon capacity that is ideal for feeding your small-to-medium-sized farm animals, along with wildlife. Installation is simple! Pair the Axis Trough with your Ranch Series Auger Feeder for automatic feeding, or use it for supplemental feeding with your Ranch Series Broadcast and Gravity Feeders.
Some features we love:
- Easy-to-install metal brackets: Sturdy metal brackets allow for quick and easy installation. These fit both the 300-lb. and 450-lb. capacity Ranch Series feeders.
- NOTE: Feeder legs must be positioned at 15° in order to properly mount the Axis Trough.
- Adjustment holes: Four holes allow you to adjust the angle of the trough, and you can lock it into place at the desired angle with the included wire-lock pins.
- 0°: Keep the trough flat
- 15°: Angle the trough slightly, making it easier for smaller animals to feed
- 90°: Dump the trough and lock it vertically to aid in cleaning without removal
- 180°: Swing the trough upside down to get any remaining unwanted or spoiled feed out of the trough
- Multiple weep holes: Ten equally spaced weep holes keep water from collecting in the bottom of the trough.
