Timer works but the motor is not spinning

  1. Make sure you are using a good 6-volt battery such as Energizer, Duracell, or Moultrie.
  2. If the battery is a rechargeable, make sure the battery is fully charged and working properly.
  3. Cold weather will impact your batteries and can cause them to lose power or freeze.  Please see additional information on Freezing Temperatures and Batteries
  4. Make sure that the wire that runs through your hopper from the Control Box (located on the side of hopper) to the Feeder Kit (located at the bottom of the hopper) is still properly connected.
  5. If this does not resolve your issue, please send in for testing.

Timer is not working

  1. Make sure you are using a good 6-volt battery such as Energizer, Duracell, or Moultrie.
  2. If the battery is a rechargeable, make sure the battery is fully charged and working properly.
  3. Reset the timer. There is a reset button on the back of the timer. To access this, remove the two screws on the faceplate of the timer. On the back of the timer you will see a small black button that says reset. With the battery connected, hold the button in until the screen on the timer goes blank and then let off the button.
  4. If the timer is still not working please send in for testing.
