Fish & Deer 30-Gallon Quick-Lock Directional Tripod

Designed to cast feed in a 30-degree path, our Fish & Deer 30-Gallon Quick-Lock Directional Tripod is ideal for use along roads, ponds, or trails, when 360-degree casting isn't needed. The included Quick-Lock Directional Feeder Kit has an integral agitator to improve feed flow and break up clumps before they're dispersed, making this feeder ideal for fish feed and other similar textured feed. The leg brackets on this feeder are also angled more narrowly, allowing for optimal placement on docks or near ponds at a feeder height of 6 feet.

The Easy Set programmable digital timer in the feeder kit allows you to schedule up to 10 feed times per day on specific days of the week. Feed times can be set for 1-60 seconds in duration, and you can choose from Hi/Med/Low spin cast settings. The timer's display includes a battery level indicator and feed level estimator so that you know when you need to charge/replace the battery or add more corn to the hopper.

Deer feeding:

• Feed should be around .25 inches in diameter or smaller on its longest side. Whole, clean kernel corn is recommended. Corn mixed well with soybeans or protein pellets can be effective; however, mixing could cause clogging depending on the ratio of corn to the additive or type/brand of the additive.
• Do not use protein pellets alone, as they will absorb moisture and swell, causing the feeder to clog. For protein pellet feeding, we recommend using one of our polymer gravity feeders, the Ranch Series Gravity Feeder, or the Ranch Series Auger Feeder/Kit.
• Do not use mineral powders or feed containing mineral powders, as they can cause corrosion of metal parts.
• For feeding with blends containing protein pellets and mineral powders, we recommend using one of our polymer gravity feeders.

Fish feeding:

• We recommend using only small to medium fish feed pellets that are .25 inches or smaller. Larger pellets may swell due to moisture and cause the feeder to clog.

The Directional Feeder includes a spinner plate with an integral agitator to improve feed flow and break up clumps before they reach the spinner plate, making it ideal for fish feed and other similar textured feed. Digital timer allows for programming of up to 10 daily feed times with 1 to 60 second duration. To keep you aware of the feeder’s requirements there are a battery level indicator, and a Feed Level Estimator for easy monitoring of usage.
