The 411 on Moultrie's Feeder Kits

Whether you call them feeder kits (as we do), motors, control units, or something else, the mechanism or attachment that dispenses feed is the heart and soul of your Moultrie feeder. We're here to help you explore all of Moultrie's feeder kits and their features so that you can decide which one best fits your needs. With the exception of gravity-style feeders, all of our kits can be programmed for feeding on a schedule.
Let's break down our feeder kits into four simple categories:
1. GRAVITY
Our gravity kits are the simplest available, as they don't require any power source to function. We have the Quick-Lock Gravity Kit, which is constructed of polymer and has three chutes, and our metal gravity kit with four chutes can be found on the Ranch Series Gravity Feeder.
2. BROADCAST
This is our most prevalent style, which casts feed out 360 degrees. The spin plates can be metal or plastic, and some kits include varmint guards to help prevent pests from stealing or destroying feed.
3. DIRECTIONAL
This kit is similar to the broadcast feeder, but instead of 360 degrees, feed is cast in a narrow 30-degree path. This makes it ideal for use along roads or trails, as well as near ponds for feeding fish.
4. AUGER
The newbie of the bunch! The Auger Feeder Kit is part of the Ranch Series line and features a heavy-duty stainless-steel auger with an adjustable chute that accommodates a wide variety of feed types. This is great for feeding pigs, finishing cattle, and much more.
Explore and compare the features of all of our feeder kits below. You'll see options with built-in varmint guards, programmable digital timers, and more.
