Game Spy D-55 / D-55IR / I-35
D-55/D-55IR/I-35
- Unit will not power up
-
- Replace batteries with quality, standard alkaline or
lithium batteries such as Energizer or Duracell.
- If unit will still not power up, please
send
in for repairs.
- Pictures taken by my camera are
scrambled
-
- When the camera is in AUTO, make sure the screen reads
AUTO P:0000/####, where the # are positive numbers.
If you get P:0000/0000, the card is not compatible
and the camera will not take a picture. You will need to
erase the card from the camera first.
- If this does not resolve the issue, you will need to get
a new card and keep it formatted to the camera – do not
delete any files from the card anywhere but on the
Moultrie camera. If you delete any files from a computer
or other camera, it reformats the card and may become
useless in the Moultrie camera. Bad formatting can cause
the pictures to appear overlapped or scrambled.
- White Pictures
-
- Make sure camera is facing North/South. If pointed
East/West the unit will pick up the rising and setting
sun, which can cause white pictures.
- White pictures can be caused by the sun and changes in
light level around your camera. If the camera is shaded,
but the subject is in bright light, it may flash and
overexpose the subject. Try moving the camera to another
tree or aim it in another direction.
- If this does not resolve the issue, please send
in for repairs.
- Draining batteries
-
- Cold weather will impact your batteries and can cause
them to drain power or freeze.
Please see additional information on Freezing Temperatures and Batteries.
- Replace batteries with quality, standard alkaline or
lithium batteries such as Energizer or Duracell.
- If this does not resolve the issue, please send
in for repairs.
