M-100 Software Update

This software update is designed to allow your camera to work with older, slower SD cards as well as SD cards that contain files from other devices in which the SD card was previously used, such as camcorders and handheld digital cameras.
Additionally, the software speeds up the delay time between images.
NOTE: Make sure your camera has new batteries installed before you begin the software upgrade. A loss of power or turning the camera off during the upgrade process will render the camera unusable, and the camera will need to be sent to Moultrie for repairs.
STEP 1:
Download the correct software for the camera model that you have. The model number can be found on the information sticker inside the camera door.
(Example: MFH-DGS-M100)
The software has been compressed in a .zip file. Many computers have an unzip utility pre-installed to open these files. You should be able to double click on the .zip file to open it.
STEP 2:
Copy the software upgrade to an
empty SD card.
The software file name will be
Main.elf.
STEP 3:
Place the SD card in the camera’s SD card slot. And position the camera’s power switch
in the
AIM position.
STEP 4:
The display will show "Upgrade Software". Highlight the "YES" option and
press the ENTER button.
The software update will start automatically and take about 1 minute.
Do not turn the camera's power off or remove the battery pack while the
upgrade is in process.
STEP 5:
The camera will shut down when the update is complete. This is normal. Restart the camera and the update will be applied.
