SD Card Firmware Upgrade Procedure

1. Prepare new batteries and one spare SD (not MMC) card.

2. Put the SD card in the unit and use the battery to power up.

3. Slide the Power button to CUSTOM START, select GENERAL SETTINGS, then 
MEMORY SETTINGS, then ERASE ALL IMAGES. select "Yes", then press OK to 
confirm the selection; Wait the "DONE" appear.

4. Connect the unit to a PC, "USB CONNECTED" show that the device changed 
to mass storage device.

5. Copy the firmware file, F-S50I.BIN, to the root directory of the SD 
card, reminded that only one BIN is allowed. Also remind to take care the 
bug of Microsoft Window, please wait a minute before disconnect the unit 
to the PC, to ensure the BIN file is really transferred to the unit.

6. Disconnect the unit to the PC. Then slide the power button to OFF positin.

7. Use internal batteries only, make sure the power level is over 80%, the 
battery percentage will shown in the AUTO, TIMELAPSE, HYBRID MODES.

8. Slide the Power button to CUSTOM START, select GENERAL SETTINGS, then 
SYSTEM SETTINGS, then UPGARDE FIRMWARE. select "Yes", then press OK to 
confirm the selection; when the BIN file is observed, the Fw Upgrade will 
be started.

Keep the camera alone, don't touch any button or disconnect the battery, it 
will crack the firmware and make the camera un-workable, it may take a several 
minutes, depend on the internal memory. 

9.After uploading, "DONE" appear on the screen and the unit will re-start in 
a few seconds. After re-start, Firmware is upgraded.

10. Check the firmware version to make sure the firmware is upgraded. Power up
the unit and goes into the UPGRADE FIRMWARE, the current firmware version is 
shown, it is "S50i-170512"
