Moultrie Warranty Policies Frequently Asked Questions
- If I do have a problem with my product, should I take it back to where I bought it from or send it back to you?
- Answer: Please do not return the product to the store, instead call us at 800-653-3334 and we will direct you on whether or not you should send your product in for repair or if we can fix the problem over the phone. Retail locations are not set up to receive returns or to do repairs on products.
- Does my Moultrie product have a warranty and what does it cover?
- Answer: All Moultrie products have a one-year warranty that covers parts and workmanship. After one year, it has a limited lifetime warranty. The cost of a repair for any product over a year old is usually less than half of the retail price plus shipping and handling.
- What is not covered under my warranty?
- Answer: Our warranty does not cover damage caused by animals, weather/natural disasters, customer modification and/or abuse.
- How do I get my Moultrie product repaired?
- Answer: First, give customer service a call at 1-800-653-3334 and discuss the problem. One of our representatives may be able to troubleshoot your problem over the phone. If not, they will instruct you on how to ship it to us.
- If I need to call your customer service, what are your hours of operation?
- Answer: Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. until 5:00p.m. (Central Standard Time)
- If I have to send my Moultrie product back, what should I include with it?
- Answer: We ask that you send a detailed note explaining your problem, a daytime phone number and a physical address. We ship back UPS and they will not deliver to a post office box. Also, you will need to include a receipt or other proof of purchase for warranty repairs.
- How should I send the product back?
- Answer: We strongly suggest using UPS or a comparable carrier, so your product will be insured and you will be able to track its progress.
- How long does it take to get a product repaired?
- Answer: Moultrie strives to bring you the best repair service possible. Repair times vary depending on the time of the year and the issues that you are having with your product. Moultrie tests every product to make sure that the products are working properly before we return them to you. Our goal is to have the fastest turn around time possible while still making sure that the problem has been fixed correctly.
- What if a product malfunctions after I have already sent it back once?
- Answer: Every time a product is sent back and repaired, it renews the warranty for another year.
- Do I need to fill out and return the warranty card that came with my product?
- Answer: Yes. The warranty cards are entered into our database to ensure that each customer’s warranty is on file.
